  1. New Media Graphics - Video Capture Driver Notes

  5. This disk includes a Video Capture driver that works with the Microsoft 
  6. Video for Windows software.  It replaces the driver on the Video for 
  7. Windows DRIVERS diskette.
  8.  
  9. Use the Control Panel Drivers applet to install the Super Video Windows 
  10. Video Capture driver included on this disk.  Select Add - "Unlisted or 
  11. Updated driver" to install the correct driver.  There is one driver,
  12. compatible with all versions of Super VideoWindows and TV-VideoWindows.

  14. Once the driver is installed, you may use the Video for Windows capture 
  15. program "VIPCAP" to capture frames, sequences of frames, or capture video 
  16. in real time.  
  17.  
  18. If you have an older SVW-ISA card, you may not be able to use the real
  19. time video capture feature of the VidCap program.  See below.

  34.    In order to use the Video for Windows Video Sequence capture feature, 
  35. you must enable the interrupt jumper on the board.  The number and location 
  36. of the jumper varies from board to board.  Refer to the board specific 
  37. directions below.  Use an unused jumper block from the I/O address 
  38. selection jumper to enable the interrupt.  If you do not connect the 
  39. jumper correctly, you will get an error only after starting to capture 
  40. a video sequence.  If there is a conflict with the interrupt number used, 
  41. you system may not work correctly or fail to capture video sequences 
  42. correctly.

  44. SVW-ISA, SVW-CM

  47. The interrupt jumper is labeled JP18, and is located above and to the 
  48. left of the edge fingers on the bottom of the card, when looking at the 
  49. top of the board.  These boards use interrupt number 10, and the interrupt 
  50. in the driver setup dialog must be set to 10.
  51.  
  52. NOTE: Some older revisions of the Super Video Windows board may not 
  53. support interrupts.  These boards are marked REV 2A, REV 2B, or REV 2E.  
  54. They can capture single frames, but can not capture a sequence of frames
  55. in real time.

  57. SVW-SL, TV-Video Windows

  60. The interrupt jumper is labeled JP13, and is located above the shorter 
  61. row of the card edge fingers when looking at the top of the board.
  62. These boards use interrupt number 10, and the interrupt in the driver setup
  63. dialog must be set to 10.

  65. SVW-MC
  66. ======
  67.  
  68. This board for the Micro Channel bus interface does not have a jumper.  
  69. You must run the Configuration program on the reference disk to select
  70. one of the two interrupts - 12 or 15.  The setting in the driver setup
  71. dialog must match the interrupt you select.
